Joint operations carried out by federal forces in coordination with state and municipal police through “Operation Border” have resulted in the arrest of 6,765 people and the seizure of 5,258 firearms.
In addition, 923,539 cartridges of various calibers, 25,080 magazines, 67,010 kilos of drugs, including 386.90 kilos of fentanyl, 4,591 vehicles, and 826 properties have been seized.
Among the seizures and arrests, one person was arrested in Ensenada, Baja California, along with 3,580 kilos of methamphetamine and two cargo trucks.
In Culiacán and Cosalá, Sinaloa, four areas containing various synthetic drug manufacturing materials were located and closed, and 2,980 liters of methamphetamine-making substances and a burner were seized. The economic impact on organized crime amounts to 61 million pesos.
In El Rosario, two people were arrested, and five long guns, 64 magazines, 6,772 rounds of ammunition, and six tactical vests were seized.
In Caborca, Sonora, a machine gun, 25 long guns, 94 magazines, 9,380 rounds of ammunition, two machine gun metal straps, 20 doses of methamphetamine, five ballistic vests, a factory-armored truck, and a property were seized.
