The president of Pro Turismo Ensenada, Andrés Martínez Bremer, assured that, by the end of 2024, the municipality will be consolidated as a multifaceted destination with great international projection, highlighting opportunities to face challenges in 2025.
Martínez Bremer stressed that emblematic events, such as Score’s almost 60-year-old off-road races, have taken the name of Ensenada to the seven continents, positioning it as a global tourism reference.
He highlighted initiatives such as the Rosarito-Ensenada Cycling Tour, with decades of tradition, and the Newport Beach-Ensenada regatta, which highlights the municipality’s connection with the Pacific.
The tourism leader emphasized that Ensenada, from north to south and from east to west, has delegations capable of offering unique experiences for visitors from all over the world. Among the attractions he mentioned the Guadalupe Valley, with its Wine Route, which houses prestigious wineries, restaurants, and boutique hotels; as well as the old wine route and traditional destinations such as La Bufadora and its spectacular coastal landscapes.
He also highlighted innovative spaces such as Pai Pai and Las Cañadas, which promote sensory and adventure tourism, complemented by iconic sites such as the Sierra de San Pedro Mártir, the Astronomical Observatory, the hot springs of the Trinidad Valley and the network of museums in the historic center of Ensenada.
Martínez Bremer described Ensenada as a comprehensive destination that combines sea, desert, mountain, surfing, diving, adventure tourism, wine and food, medical, business, sports, romance, among others.
In addition, he highlighted the importance of preparing the municipality for the Tianguis Turístico 2025, where it must demonstrate its focus on inclusive, sustainable, sustainable and regenerative tourism.
Ensenada, concluded Martínez Bremer, is not only a tourist destination, but a symbol of diversity and global potential that continues to evolve to meet the demands of the local, regional, national and international market.
