It set sail this Monday with 47 new crew members who boarded the ship from Cabo San Lucas
The global COVID 19 pandemic sets a precedent in the history of the 21st century. The port of Cabo San Lucas in the municipality of Los Cabos will go down in history by becoming a humanitarian port for the shipping industry in the Pacific Ocean.
This Monday, June 22, 2020, the second humanitarian arrival at the tourist destination concluded. It was the arrival of the “Carnival Miracle”, a cruise ship that since last Friday arrived to receive crew; the ship does not bring tourists and is not operating commercially.
According to information from the Comprehensive Port Administration (API), from Cabo San Lucas, a total of 47 crew members boarded the services of the tourist vessel through the port facilities. On this occasion, it was not necessary to supply the ship, as happened on the first humanitarian arrival a few months ago, the ship Oosterdam.
“The data until today, that the last crew member arrived today, in total there were 47 crew members and they did not carry out provisioning, which is the acquisition of supplies,” described Fernando Hoyos Romero, head of the CSL API.
After 6:00 p.m., the ship was scheduled to set sail, with an indefinite course in which the situation of the tourist routes is determined as a result of the COVID 19 Pandemic.
