The state leader of the National Action Party (PAN) in Baja California, Lizbeth Mata Lozano, asserted that the state is experiencing a severe crisis of corruption, impunity, and alleged ties to organized crime under the Morena party governments, stating that “Baja California is currently a narco-state governed by Morena.”
The PAN leader launched strong criticisms against officials and mayors from the Morena party, and demanded that federal and state authorities move forward with the investigations stemming from the criminal complaints that, she affirmed, have already been filed by the National Action Party.
“We must demand accountability from the authorities regarding their public officials. Today, Baja California is a narco-state governed by Morena, and, furthermore, there are visible acts of corruption in every municipality,” Mata Lozano declared.
