The National Commission of Honesty and Justice (CNHJ) of the Morena party has halted the alleged self-promotion activities of Senator Julieta Ramírez. The internal authority determined that the legislator must suspend promotional activities that do not comply with current electoral regulations.

According to Morena’s case file CNHJ-BC-179/2026, the resolution responds to complaints regarding the display of campaign materials in municipalities such as Tijuana, Mexicali, Tecate, and Ensenada.

Morena’s internal justice body resolved the complaints filed on April 15 and 21, 2026, by members Cindy Guadalupe Sánchez Moreno and Magdalena Lourdes Medina Calderón.

The complainants submitted 42 pieces of documentary evidence, including photographs of walls with slogans promoting her personal image and social media posts.

The technical resolution states that the senator’s conduct requires immediate suspension to guarantee internal fairness.

Therefore, the legislator was instructed to refrain from distributing flyers and holding mass assemblies aimed at promoting her public image before the legal deadlines.

“This National Commission deems it appropriate to issue this precautionary measure, so that Ms. Julieta Andrea Ramírez Padilla refrains from any campaign activity or distribution that promotes her image and is not in accordance with the electoral timeline.”

The decision issued by the National Commission of Honesty and Justice on May 6, 2026, does not represent a definitive disqualification for the senator in the lead-up to the June 6, 2027, elections.

It is an agreement for the temporary suspension of campaign activities while the administrative sanctioning procedure is completed.

Although Julieta Andrea Ramírez Padilla’s political rights remain intact, the party warned that she will be subject to strict monitoring of her activities.

If she disobeys the precautionary measures and continues to disseminate her image in public spaces, the Morena senator could face economic sanctions or the loss of her registration to participate in the internal survey that will be carried out in the second half of 2026.
