Intense police mobilization occurred near the Tijuana State Attorney General’s Office due to the discovery of human remains accompanied by a narco-banner on the Alamar Norte Expressway in the Chapultepec Alamar neighborhood, within the Centenario District, right next to the courthouse.
According to information collected on social media, the incident was reported to authorities around 7:36 a.m. when a citizen alerted 911 about the presence of a banner placed on the sidewalk.
After receiving the notification, municipal police officers responded to the scene and cordoned off the area to preserve the scene. Subsequently, experts from the Attorney General’s Office gathered evidence to begin the corresponding investigation. To date, no one has been arrested or identified in connection with this incident.
The state Attorney General’s Office and local authorities have not released further details. However, it is worth noting that the incident occurred after other attacks on prosecutors’ offices in the region, such as the one that occurred on September 20 at the Ensenada Attorney General’s Office, where three patrol cars were set on fire.
According to reports, the Attorney General’s Office parking lot, located in the El Ciprés area, was broken into by armed individuals around midnight.
Days later, Attorney General María Elena Andrade Ramírez reported that three individuals had been identified as responsible and arrested.
Last weekend, a narco-banner with explicit threats appeared in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, sparking concern among local residents.
The message, attributed to “La Chapiza,” a faction of the Sinaloa Cartel, warns of the start of a “war” and announces direct reprisals against U.S. citizens living in the region.
The text of the banner, reported on social media, directly mentions Kash Patel, director of the FBI; Terry Cole of the DEA; and Ronald Johnson, the United States ambassador to Mexico.
The warning also extends to Mexican political figures, such as President Claudia Sheinbaum and Omar García Harfuch, head of the federal Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC).
According to the message, all of them will be considered “guilty” of any action taken by the organization led by the sons of Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán.
The threat, according to the banner, arises in retaliation for the intervention of US authorities in anti-drug operations, including seizures of laboratories and weapons in Sinaloa, Baja California Sur, and Juárez.
The message emphasizes that the actions of US agencies have motivated “La Chapo” to take direct action against US citizens, particularly those residing in Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo.
