Macabre discovery: woman carrying a corpse in a suitcase arrested in Tijuana

In an incident that shocked Tijuana, security agents from the state of Baja California discovered a suitcase with a corpse inside, which led to the arrest of a woman who was trying to flee the scene. According to the authorities, this chilling case underlines the importance of citizen reporting, since the arrest was achieved thanks to an anonymous call.

The incident occurred on the night of Sunday, December 29 on Aldrete Avenue and Constitución Avenue, in the Zona Norte neighborhood of Tijuana. Agents from the State Force for Citizen Security (FESC), after receiving a citizen report, located a woman near a wooden room with a rolling suitcase. Upon noticing the police presence, the suspect fled, which raised suspicions among the officers.

The woman, identified as Norma Aidé “N”, 54 years old and originally from La Paz, Baja California Sur, was arrested after a brief chase. Upon inspecting the suitcase, the agents found the mutilated body of a person, confirming the content of the initial report.

After the discovery, the area was cordoned off and the State Investigation Agency (AEI) was notified to process the scene and prevent the alteration of evidence. Norma Aidé “N” received dignified treatment at all times, respecting her human rights, and was placed at the disposal of the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) to determine her legal situation. In addition, the investigation continues to clarify the facts and determine possible links to other crimes.
