Multiple “small” earthquakes are registered in Baja California

According to reports from the National Seismological Service, there were four tremors that were registered during the first hours of this Sunday in the state of Baja California

During the first hours of this Sunday, July 18, surely there were Baja Californians who felt that their bed was moved because a series of earthquakes were registered at dawn.

The National Seismological Service reported, until the publication of this note, four tremors in Baja California , the one with the highest magnitude of 4.1 degrees.

The first event took place at 3:08 am (Central time) with its epicenter 71 km northeast of the city of Santa Rosalía; this was the 4.1-degree earthquake with a depth of 3 kilometers.

The second earthquake was 3.6 degrees at 04:23 hours 69 km northeast also of Santa Rosalía; while the third earthquake of 3.5 degrees occurred at 4:39 in the morning 133 kilometers southeast of San Felipe.

The fourth and last earthquake was registered 138 kilometers southeast of San Felipe, Baja California with a magnitude of 3.8 degrees on the Richter scale, at 4:45 a.m.
