A few weeks ago, as part of the Ministry of Culture’s Volver a Verte campaign, the IMAX Dome at the Tijuana Cultural Center (Cecut) announced that it would reopen its doors on Thursday, April 29.

Cecut’s General Direction had confirmed that the IMAX Dome would be the first space to resume activities, after having tested the entrance and mobility protocols.

However, Cecut’s official Facebook page, as well as Cecut’s film library page, informed on May 3 that due to unforeseen circumstances, all functions at the IMAX Dome would be suspended until further notice.

The reason for the suspension was not explained.

On Thursday, May 6, the Cecut’s social media informed that the IMAX Dome functions were resumed.

The purchase of tickets for the IMAX Dome screenings is online and can be made from the institution’s official website www.cecut.gob.mx. The three films currently playing are: Back Home, Apollo 11 and Superpower Dogs.
