Filters on municipal safety and health that are intended to restrict access to Ensenada to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, have been extended until May 17.

The Municipal Government specifies that said measures were determined because it is considered that it is still in Phase 3 of the contingency and the curve of positive cases is on the rise.

The filters will continue to operate in the delegations of El Sauzal de Rodríguez, Real del Castillo (Ojos Negros town), Punta Colonet and San Quintín, as well as on the Wine Route.

The population is encouraged to continue applying the health recommendations and only leave their homes to carry out essential activities, as this will allow the community to resume its daily activities in less time.

The current report of the State Health Secretariat establishes that in the last 24 hours seven new cases of coronavirus were registered in the urban area, with a total of 45 positive cases -40 in the city and five in the southern region.

He specified that the suspected cases decreased from 60 to 36 in the urban area; while deaths continue in six in the city and one in the San Quintín Valley.

It should be noted that this action was implemented as it is one of the lines of action of the Municipal Contingency Plan COVID-19, in which authorities from the three levels of government participate, as well as members of business chambers, civil associations, and civil society.

At the following electronic address ( http://www.ensenada.gob.mx/?page_id=3132 ), the population will be able to consult a document with the most frequent questions and answers regarding this health measure to mitigate the progress of COVID- 19 in the municipality of Ensenada.
