Authorities signed an agreement letter of intent with Score International

The Mayor of Ensenada, Armando Ayala Robles, led the signing of a letter of intent for the celebration of an agreement with Score International with which he seeks to crystallize that in 2021 this municipality known as the Off-Road Capital of the World, can be the headquarters of the Baja 1000, Baja 500 and Baja 400 off-road races.

According to the mayor, he assured that these events will take place in accordance with health protocols to avoid crowds and thus help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in the municipality and state.

For his part, the representative of Score International Juan Tintos Funcke, pointed out that the races are planned for the Baja 500 to take place in June, the Baja 400 in September, and the Baja 1000 in November.

Funcke also commented that in the last edition of the Baja 1000, the teams verified the protocols implemented by local businesses, which gave them greater confidence for this year.

The Ensenada government took the opportunity to invite the Off-Road Wellness Walk on January 31 in Ojos Negros, which is promoted by the Lobos del Desierto company and seeks to generate support for the community of Real del Castillo.
