In the exchange rate against the dollar, the Mexican peso closed on Thursday with losses but this morning begins with a significant recovery.
Today, Friday, September 11, 2020, the dollar is trading at $ 21.31 Mexican pesos, according to the investing.com platform. This means that the peso has recovered 16 cents compared to yesterday’s close Thursday when the day ended at 21.47 units. During the session on Thursday, the currencies of emerging countries were affected by a greater perception of risk and a general strengthening of the dollar.Â
International markets are keeping abreast of what happens in the United States, where Republican lawmakers seek to ensure that it is now in the Senate where they can advance their proposal for an economic stimulus package. Such an initiative has faced stiff opposition from the Democratic Party. They have pointed out that the Republican proposal is not enough to solve the economic problems that the country is going through.

Regarding the exchange rate in the different banks in Mexico, the dollar price reaches its highest level for sale at $ 22.60 in Banbajio,  while the lowest for purchase is at $ 20.30 at IXE and Banorte.
Regarding the euro , it is priced at $ 25.62 pesos, for $ 27.32 pesos of the pound sterling in general average. Â
