The Secretary of Tourism, Óscar Pérez Barros, indicated that some people are rescheduling their trips in the face of this new disease
Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Sinaloa is free of coronavirus, but it is necessary to reinforce prevention measures before COVID-19, so it is necessary to join efforts with the health authorities, business chambers, hotel associations, and the media so that the virus does not hit the state, said the head of the Ministry of Tourism.
Óscar Pérez Barros indicated that the state government will be very aware that all the institutions, public and private, comply with the requirements of International Health, as well as the Ministry of Health.
“The courses are being given with the hotels, there are courses with the Coepriss where the two hotel associations go to give them the letters that they are free of coronavirus and this helps us a lot to continue reactivating both the reservations and the congresses and conventions ”.
He indicated that so far there have been no cancellations in lodging income, but these reservations have been postponed to other dates as a preventive measure.
Pérez Barros also reported that on the subject of cruises, there was confusion by the ship Oosterdam, believing that it had canceled its arrival, but it only changed the date, since it arrived last Wednesday instead of Monday; since it assured, all the ships that arrive in the state comply with all the regulations that International Health requires.
